Recipe for WW3 in the mix

Energy production revolution begins in Mideast

Scenes of carnage and upheaval have been playing out for so many decades in the Middle East – car bombings, terrorist attacks, wars, intifadas, and the slightly more optimistic images associated with the Arab Spring – that they are by now well familiar.
But there is another revolution in the Mideast, presently underway, that is not being televised. It centers on the all-important area of energy production, and it might be called, "the Battle for Leviathan."

At issue is the recent discovery of huge untapped natural gas fields in the Levant Basin, the section of the eastern Mediterranean Sea that abuts Israel to the East, and Cyprus to the North.

The U.S. Geological Survey estimates that this underwater area holds 123 trillion cubic feet of recoverable natural gas. In simpler terms: That's equal to 20 billion barrels of oil, more than twenty times what the United States maintains in its Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

Through "exclusive economic zones" finalized under prevailing laws of the sea, Israel and Cyprus have laid internationally recognized claims to these fields, which analysts suggest could be worth $130 billion to the Israeli economy.

This is why in February, Benjamin Netanyahu became the first Israeli prime minister ever to visit Cyprus, and why the two nations have inked a number of unprecedented pacts with each other.

Led by Texas-based Noble Energy, the Israelis have already identified two gas fields south of Cyprus, code-named "Leviathan" and "Tamar," that offer a combined 24 trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas. Talks are underway between Jerusalem and Nicosia to build underwater pipelines, refineries, air bases, and other critical infrastructure to facilitate -- and protect -- these ventures.

If successful, they could serve not only to make the Jewish state energy-independent but allow it to become an energy exporter.

This, in turn, would give Jerusalem increased clout over energy-hungry states like India and China

The latter, in particular, has repeatedly voted on the U.N. Security Council to protect Iran; but Beijing may be persuaded to abandon that stance if Israel becomes a significant supplier of Chinese gas imports.

Turkey, which has historically clashed with Cyprus and has feuded with Jerusalem in recent years, has deployed warships to protect what it sees as its interests in the underwater gas fields; and Lebanon, backed by the terrorist group Hezbollah, has warned that the U.S. and Israel will not be permitted to "plunder" natural resources that Beirut, too, claims as its own.

Finally, both Iran and Russia – which has surged over the last decade to become the world's leading exporter of natural gas – have also taken note of the potential geopolitical shifts that these gas discoveries could bring about. It is, in short, a situation rife with both economic promise and the potential for military peril.

"Iran, of course, as Israel's implacable foe, will do all it can do to thwart any activity that allows Israel to become more secure, more prosperous, or remain viable as a sovereign state," John Sitilides, a State Department advisor and lobbyist based in Washington, said.

"And so we might see Iran, operating through proxies such as Hezbollah in Lebanon or Hamas in the Palestinian Authority's Gaza Strip, [act] to deny Israel and Cyprus the ability to get that natural gas to market," he added.
While the U.S. generally sees Israeli energy independence as a desirable development for American security interests, the Obama administration has urged that Cyprus and Turkey initiate a "de-escalation of rhetoric and tension" to arrive at a resolution of the differing claims to the gas fields.

At a briefing last September, State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland called for the two countries, perhaps with the assistance of the United Nations, to develop "some sort of mediation on a revenue-sharing agreement for natural gas developed off of Cyprus."

Federal Overreach Slaps Texas on Voter ID Law

By FoxNews

The Obama administration has once more gone too far in its "overreach," Texas Gov. Rick Perry said Monday, after the Justice Department objected to the state's new voter photo ID law,

On Monday, the Justice Dpartment's head of the civil rights division, Tom Perez, sent a a six-page letter to Texas' director of elections saying that Texas has not "sustained its burden" under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act to show that the new law will not have a discriminatory effect

The DOJ has no valid reason for rejecting this important law, which requires nothing more extensive than the type of photo identification necessary to receive a library card or board an airplane. Their denial is yet another example of the Obama administration's continuing and pervasive federal overreach," Perry said.

"If citizens are required to show ID in order to open a bank account, cash a check, drive a car or board a plane, how much more important is it to show ID in order to exercise one of our most valuable democratic rights?" he asked. "This is an abuse of executive authority and an affront to the citizens of Texas. It's time for the Obama administration to learn not to mess with Texas."

The Texas law even allows voters to show alternate forms of ID such as military ID, a U.S. citizenship certificate, a U.S. passport or a license to carry a concealed handgun.

You MUST Obey!

by Paul Joseph Watson

A new paper to be published in Ethics, Policy & Environment argues that serious consideration should be given to mass drugging the population to make them more environmentally conscious while also proposing that babies should be genetically engineered to be smaller in order to reduce their carbon footprints.

Liao suggests “pharmacologically induced meat intolerance” where people would take drugs which would trigger extreme nausea or wear patches that would “stimulate the immune system to reject common bovine proteins.”

In order to reduce an individual’s “carbon footprint” and make sure they consume less, Liao suggests that a policy similar but more flexible to China’s one child policy be introduced, where parents can choose between having one large child, two medium sized children or three small children.

This would be accomplished by “preimplantation genetic diagnosis,” where embryos would be implanted based on height, or by using “drugs that reduce or increase the expression of paternal or maternal genes in order to affect birth height.”

Asked if genetic manipulation of babies is ethical or fair, Liao responds by citing the need to address “climate change” as the more pressing moral concern.

Liao subsequently suggests that drugging the public could positively influence their “will” to donate money to charities like Oxfam, which support the global warming agenda, by means of “pharmacological enhancement of empathy and altruism”.

“For example, I might know that I ought to send a check to Oxfam, but because of a weakness of will I might never write that check. But if we increase my empathetic capacities with drugs, then maybe I might overcome my weakness of will and write that check,” says Liao.

The authors of the paper emphasize that all of this would be “voluntary” and not coercive. However, as we have seen with the vaccine agenda, parents who try to protect their children from dangerous inoculations, or whatever particular medical trend is in vogue, face consequences almost equivalent to if vaccinations were compulsory, since the state and the medical establishment engages in harassment and hands out punishments to the same degree.

Liao’s advocacy for pharmacological “enhancement” of the population is by no means the first time it has been mooted. As far back as 1977, current White House science czar John P. Holdren wrote in his book Ecoscience that the population should be sterilized with infertility drugs to help save the planet.

The usefulness of mass drugging as a means of creating a docile population has also been promulgated through the media, where the idea of putting lithium in the water supply as a “mood stabilizer” has been afforded serious credence. Other prominent professors and psychiatrists have also called for psychotropic drugs to be added to drinking water.

This marks the second time in a matter of weeks that the shockingly non-ethical recommendations of bio-ethicists have made the headlines. The previous controversy centered around a paper published in the Journal of Medical Ethics which argued that abortion should be extended to make the killing of newborn babies permissible.

Why do you carry a handgun? Why are you a “prepper?”

By Annie Wan

It seems today that some, especially on the left and in the MSM, want to cast gun owners, CHLs, and “preppers” as “Extremists”.  Somehow, because these individuals are planning for their own safety and survival, they must be crazy.

This seems much like the grasshopper & the ant scenario, where the ants prepare for the long winter, and the grasshopper has not a care in the world, and simply depends on others for his welfare;  Until winter comes.

We all know how that story goes.  The ants are warm and happy, and the grasshopper is literally out in the cold.  Unlike the fairy tale, the ants won’t be able to take care of the grasshopper in a real world disaster.
Consider what FEMA did during Katrina.  Too many victims and too few supplies or volunteers, mixed with a  response time that makes turtles look fast.  Almost 2000 people died – many not from the hurricane, but rather in the aftermath.

Some of those who not only survived by thrived where “preppers”.  Individuals who were prepared for such an event, and took rehearsed action with previously procured supplies.

Preparation for disaster is not a foreign concept, borne from Extremist mentality.  It is a rather common one.  Take for example a business.  There are hundreds of thousands of businesses, even millions.  And even more business owners, as one owner often will own more than one business.  We are not talking about a small demographic.

Businesses often take measures to protect themselves from disasters.  We all know that earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires and other natural disasters occur.  They relatively infrequent – and yet businesses spend no small amount of time effort and money to plan and prepare for them.  From network backups, to fire suppression systems, to employee notification systems and burglar alarms.

But “If the fire department will come to your rescue, then why purchase and deploy a fire suppression system?”  How much damage will that fire do before the firemen get there?  What critical infrastructure could be damaged or destroyed by even a small fire?

The average response time for a fireman is 3-5 minutes.  In that time, a small fire can easily become a large fire.  Ravaging your business – or worse if your employees didn’t make it out in time.  By being able to combat the fire yourself, you lessen the risk of total loss.  The disaster has already occurred, but by being prepared, you can help prevent the worst case scenario.

My fire extinguisher is my safety net.  I don’t expect a violent threat to occur, but I am prepared if it does.
The idea of preparing yourself against a risk that is devastating, even though it happens infrequently, is not uncommon, nor alien to our culture or any other culture around the globe.  To cast such preparation and risk mitigation as an extremist idea is so incalculably incorrect, it’s not even imaginable.

Now imagine that you have a product not worth the hundreds of thousands or even millions or billions of dollars of inventory, but rather a product that is literally priceless -  Something precious and unique beyond all human comprehension.  Something like  human life.  Wouldn’t a prudent person take the some level of preparation and risk mitigation to protect that life?

In many countries the concept of storing some modicum of food and supplies for emergency is commonplace.  Every family has their small stockpile.  It is prudent preparation for the continued survival of your family.  (Or even the mitigation of discomfort due to temporary shortages of supplies on the market).
So why would we, here in America, think that such personal preparation is extremist?  There is nothing abnormal about preparing for disaster.  Whether it be a disaster of a personal nature like the loss of a job or home invasion, or a geographical nature like Katrina.  Being prepared is the smart thing to do.

That is why I am a “prepper”.

Preparation for personal disaster is also not a foreign concept, borne from Extremist mentality.  It is a rather common one.  Families often take measures to protect themselves from personal disasters as well.  We all know that burglaries, home invasions, and muggings occur.  They relatively infrequent – and yet people spend no small amount of time effort and money to plan and prepare for them.  From gated communities, to bolt locks on doors, to teaching kids to dial 911 and owning burglar alarms.

But “If the police will come to your rescue, then why own or carry a gun?”  How much damage or loss of life can an intruder inflict before the police get there?  Which family members could you lose to a mugger or home invasion?

The average response time for a policeman  is 3-5 minutes.  In that time, a killer can easily go from taking just one life, to taking dozens.  Murdering you – or worse your entire family.  By being able to combat the threat yourself, you lessen the risk of total loss.  The disaster has already occurred, but by being prepared, you can help prevent the worst case scenario.

My sidearm is my fire extinguisher.  I don’t expect a violent threat to occur, but I am prepared if it does.

That is why  I carry.

If you choose not to prep, or not to carry, that is your right.  But know that you are the grasshopper -   and the ants may not be able to take care of you come winter.

Massive Solar Storm Could Knock Out Power, Communications, Navigation Systems

03.07.2012 - MASSIVE SOLAR STORM NOW HEADED STRAIGHT FOR EARTH. USA TODAY STATES IT MAY KNOCK OUT POWER, WORLD COMMUNICATIONS, NAVIGATION SYSTEMS, ETC

Update: 03-04-2012. With nearly 2.1 million sever request 'per-hour' to this website now, you most likely have heard about NASA warning the public, "to get ready for a once in a life time solar storm event".

NASA researchers announced that a storm is coming--the most intense solar maximum in fifty years that could rival the the solar storm of 1958. But just like hurricanes often do, they become far stronger then anyone expected. The next solar maximum should be a doozy.Dikpati's forecast puts Solar Max at 2012.

But since we first published this update back in early 2010, a lot more information has since unfolded. Soon we will add some additional NASA footage here that is very troubling, that gives cause to exactly why NASA is so concerned.

Astrophysicist Alexei Dmitriev says that both Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 satellites reveal that our sun, as well as our entire solar system, is now moving into an interstellar energy cloud. Opher, a NASA Heliophysics Guest Investigator from George Mason University says this interstellar energy cloud is turbulent.  Dmitriev explains that this cloud of energy is exciting the atmospheres of our planets and especially our sun. As this interstellar energy cloud continues to excite/charge the sun, it causes the sun to become more active, resulting in greater output from the sun. IE: Bigger and more frequent solar storms and CME's resulting in the Carrington effect.  This interstellar cloud of electrical energy is also absorbed by the Earth, and scientist have found that it results in more earth quakes, all while dramatically effecting our weather here on earth. When asked how long will it take our sun to pass through this interstellar energy cloud, Dr. Dmitriev replied, "I don't know. But If I had to guess, I would say somewhere between two thousand to three thousand years." This interstellar cloud is a wispy band of charged particles through which our solar system is slowly moving through.

Saudi Oil Pipelines Destroyed In Explosion, Sends Crude Soaring

Among the many factors responsible for the jump in WTI to just shy of $109 over the past hour, and Brent to new records in various currencies, is the following news reported so far only by Iranian PressTV: "An explosion has hit oil pipelines in the flashpoint Saudi Arabian city of Awamiyah in the kingdom’s oil-rich Eastern Province."

For the first time in decades, the Eastern Saudi Arabian volatile situation has reached the vital oil sector. A pipeline between Awamiya and Safwa has been reportedly targeted, and is under fire. Saudi Arabia's Shiite minority, mostly residing in the oil rich east, has been protesting for years against State sponsored discrimination. They are treated as second class citizens, denied public sector jobs, and vital development for their oil rich areas. Saudi Arabia's powerful Wahhabi religious establishment considers Shiites heretics, and constantly incites against them.

Security forces have killed two protesters in Awamiya, Eastern Saudi Arabia. They are launching a series of arrests and raids on houses, schools and mosques.

This is Awamiya this evening, protesters have blocked the Police road after arrests in the town.

2/29/2012 7:21 PM ET | By Anthony Mirhaydari, MSN Money Will Fed push oil to $200 a barrel?

Bernanke seems intent on yet another round of stimulus, long after it will do any good. That will open the door to inflation -- and within a few years, $7-a-gallon gas.

Winter's chill is giving way to the rebirth of spring. But it's not just the warmer weather that has investors in a celebratory mood. Stock prices have been blooming in a low-volatility rise that seems perfectly, well, natural.

And investors are enamored with the idea of economic deliverance at the hands of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, via a new round of stimulus involving hundreds of billions more in cheap dollars. He will keep stocks rising. He will solve our intractable problems. It's a cult of personality. And it's a mistake.

It won't be the economic salvation investors expect; Bernanke's about to unleash a hellish inflation that will burn the economy for years. It'll be a slow burn that eats away at the average American's already-diminished living standards through pricier food, fuel and other necessities at a time of stagnant wages, depressed wealth and diminished savings.

Inflation at 8%, not 3.1% as the goverment would have you believe

(CNN) Forget the modest 3.1 percent rise in the Consumer Price Index, the government's widely used measure of inflation. Everyday prices are up some 8 percent over the past year, according to the American Institute for Economic Research.

The not-for-profit research group measures inflation without looking at the big, one-time purchases that can skew the numbers. That means they don't look at the price of houses, furniture, appliances, cars, or computers. Instead, AIER focuses on Americans' typical daily purchases, such as food, gasoline, child care, prescription drugs, phone and television service, and other household products.

The institute contends that to get a good read on inflation's "sticker shock" effect, you must look at the cost of goods that the average household buys at least once a month and factor in only the kinds of expenses that are subject to change. That, too, eliminates the cost of housing because when you finance your home with a fixed-rate mortgage, that expense remains constant until you refinance or move.

The group maintains that this index better measures the real-world impact of price changes, particularly for people on a budget. And, largely as the result of the recent run-up in gas prices, this "everyday price index" (EPI) suggests that Americans are being pinched far more tightly than the official inflation measure would have you believe.
And if the biased liberal media machine that is CNN would dare report this, then I bet the truth is closer to 16%...

Latest Wikileaks dump shows Dems effort to throw 2008 election

By

This morning Wikileaks began its latest document dump in a series of cables that it calls 'The Global Intelligence Files.' Part of the information contained in the files shows that the Democratic Party engaged in an effort to throw the 2008 election.
The Democrats may have succeeded, and the election results from 2008 may be entirely skewed.
At issue is internal communication within a company in Texas called Stratfor. The company bills itself as a 'global intelligence service' that offers confidential information to large corporations and political entities.
Among Stratfor's clients are the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, the U.S. Marines, Dow Chemical, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman.
In an internal email dated Nov. 7, 2008, a Stratfor operative sent the following information to the company's chain of staffers:

From: Fred Burton [mailto:burton@stratfor.com]
Sent: Friday, November 07, 2008 7:41 AM
To: secure@stratfor.com
Subject: Insight - The Dems & Dirty Tricks ** Internal Use Only - Pls Do
Not Forward **
** Internal Use Only - Pls Do Not Forward **
1) The black Dems were caught stuffing the ballot boxes in Philly and Ohio as reported the night of the election and Sen. McCain chose not to fight. The matter is not dead inside the party. It now becomes a matter of sequence now as to how and when to "out".
2) It appears the Dems "made a donation" to Rev. Jesse (no, they would never do that!) to keep his yap shut after his diatribe about the Jews and Israel. A little bird told me it was a "nice six-figure donation". This also becomes a matter of how and when to out.
3) The hunt is on for the sleezy Russian money into O-mans coffers. A smoking gun has already been found. Will get more on this when the time
is right. My source was too giddy to continue. Can you say Clinton and ChiCom funny money? This also becomes a matter of how and when to out.

Several key pieces of information are contained in this stunning admission by an operative of one of the most respected intelligence gathering corporations in the world. First, the Democratic Party engaged in election tampering, a felony, by stuffing ballot boxes in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Second, the Democratic Party paid Jessie Jackson six figures to keep his mouth shut about political issues during the 2008 campaign. It was widely known at the time that Jackson had no use for Obama. And third, Russian money went to the campaign of Barack Obama much as Chinese money went to the campaign of Bill Clinton during the 1990s.
These are serious issues that throw into question the integrity of the U.S. elections process and the lengths to which the political parties will go to secure a win, in this case, the Democratic Party and Barack Obama.

Ohio and Pennsylvania are merely the two areas where Democratic operatives were caught stuffing ballot boxes. How many other areas around the country were subjected to voter fraud without anyone getting caught?

A second Wikileaks cable indicates that 2008 Republican Presidential candidate John McCain decided not to pursue legal action against the Democrats for engaging in voter fraud. The candidate believed that to do so would have thrown the country into civil unrest, and thus, he let the matter drop.

Emails between Stratfor staffers indicate that McCain's actions were viewed as baffling, to say the least.

Ron Paul To Ben Bernanke: "People Lose Trust In The Government Because You Lie To Them About Inflation"

Anytime Ron Paul sits across from Ben Bernanke you know sparks will fly. Sure enough, they did: starting 3 mins 50 seconds into the clip below, Ron Paul, guns blazing, asks the Chairman if he does his own shopping, if he is aware of what true inflation is, and if he knows that Americans don't trust the government because they are being lied to about inflation. And it only gets better, once Paul starts brandishing a silver coin. The punchline: "The Fed will self-destruct anyway when the money is gone" - amen.

And ironically letting the Fed keep on doing what it is doing will achieve that in the fastest possible way. In fact, letting the system cannibalize itself with no further hindrances may be the best option currently available - just go to town.
